Correct dental coding reduces claim
rejection and leads to quicker reimbursement. CDT 2013, the only official source
for the most up-to-date and accurate dental procedure codes, aims to fill the
"code gap" by providing more specific dental codes for services rendered. Now
issued annually, CDT 2013 offers 35 new dental procedure codes, 37 revised
dental procedure codes, 12 deleted dental procedure codes, and 7 changes to
subcategories and their descriptors.
